Unlike some other banks, Chime does not have Zelle integrated directly in their platform currently though it is possible they will add it sometime in the future.

Regardless, it is possible to still use Zelle with your Chime account.

How to set up Chime to work with Zelle

To use Zelle with your Chime account, you need to first download and install the Zelle app for your device.

The Zelle app is available for free for both Android and iOS.

Once you are signed into your new Zelle account, it will ask you to “find your bank”.

As we’ve already established, Chime doesn’t work with Zelle natively.

Regardless, start typing Chime to search for it and eventually a “don’t see your bank?” button will appear. Click on it.

Instead of being nearly instant, the payments can take a few business days to process.

Despite that, this is still your best option for using Zelle with your Chime account.
